Question:
Can I download the videos to my computer, so that I don’t have to rely on an internet connection all the time?
LH2 Response:
Hello, no I'm afraid it's not possible right now, however, our development plans include a prospective app that will allow you to download lessons to your computer or mobile device, and you would be able to continue to do that as long as your account remains open, and subject to all our other T&Cs of course. When the app is ready all users will be notified through the website and email, just like with every other update or addition we make.

Question:
How do I download lesson documents and audio files?

This content can only be used in accordance with Learn How 2 terms and conditions. Copying, distributing or sharing any documents or images, in whole or in part, is strictly forbidden. Question:
What would happen if you decided to deactivate a course that I have purchased? How would I continue to get access to it?
LH2 Response:
If we have to disable a course permanently due to legal or policy infringements that cannot be corrected, or because of technical issues that are beyond our control to repair, all students who have purchased such a course or obtained access to it (in case of free courses) will be notified, and you would not be given or granted any other form of access to it due to the same reasons. If you paid for a course that has been permanently disabled due to the above causes, and you're still within 30 days of purchase you are entitled to requesting a full refund. Unfortunately after the 30-day time limit we would not be able to offer a refund in the same circumstances as mentioned above. If a course has been only temporarily disabled (possibly due to maintenance or updates) it will be accessible again as soon as possible. Usually within 7 to 15 calendar days.

Question:
What would happen with my access to all the courses that I have purchased if LH2 closed?
LH2 Response:
Hello, let's hope that never ever happens!...but just like any other business on the planet, we're not exempt of that risk, and if it did get to that our business plans state that we would get in touch with all the users to inform them of that decision in a timely manner, and how and when you could access all the content that you have purchased on LH2, to ensure that you continue to enjoy it permanently. This may entail you being granted access to a certain site or page where you could download all your courses and you would be given a reasonable timescale to do so, with reminders sent to you coming to the end of the timescale.

Question:
Is there a time limit to complete a course to get my certificate?
LH2 Response:
Not at all! Learn at your own pace, your Certificate will be there for you whenever you finish the course. Just bear in mind that, as all other tutors would agree, for best results it's important that you commit to a frequency, time and place that fits comfortably within your personal circumstances, and adhere to the plan. If you want to challenge yourself, establish a realistic timescale and go for it. But at the end of the day it's your course, your time, your learning style! Enjoy! Your certificate will be waiting for you patiently. Luis

Question:
I live in a remote part of the country with very limited internet access at best, any plans to make the videos downloadable?
LH2 Response:
Hello, yes, we are planning to make lessons downloadable and accessible possibly via an app, which you would also have to download to your device to be able to view your courses. At this point in time (16/09/20) we still don't know the prospective production timescale but we will be working on it soon. Stay tuned for news! Luis

Question:
Why do you require an email address for the registration process?
LH2 Response:
Hello, we need an authentic email address for all the relevant communication between us. For example, all your purchase confirmations, course updates, T&C updates, technical support replies, etc will be sent there. As per our Terms & Conditions we may use your email address to inform you of other products and services that we offer and that may be relevant to you, but we will not sell or pass your details to any other person or companies. Thank you Luis. LH2

Question:
I have seen this course somewhere else too, different price and conditions, why is that?
LH2 Response:
Hello. Our Authors are free to publish and promote their courses anywhere they want to, and it's only fair that they are allowed to do that. After all we want happy authors! Just like any other business, every educational platform has their own business financial requirements, which drive their tutor fees plans and course prices, and their own terms of business. Luis

Question:
Can I contact the tutor directly by email instead of the Contact the Tutor facility?
LH2 Response:
Hello. For safety, data and privacy protection reasons our Tutors are not allowed to contact students directly in any way outside the LH2 system, or to request any of their direct contact details. If this ever happens to you, please let us know immediately. This is also to avoid any potential breach of course content access outside the LH2 website. The Contact the tutor facility is the safest way to protect your privacy, and it's a very effective way of communication. Please only use this method to contact the tutors. Thanks! Luis

Question:
I am an HR Manager, I have seen a course on your website that I’d like some members of staff to complete, do you offer corporate licences?

At the moment (16/09/20) we only sell individual access to courses, but we are working to be able to offer multi-access licences for family members, work groups or organisations, hopefully soon. We'll keep you informed of availability in our blogs on the website and through advertisements. Thank you Luis. LH2

Question:
I saw “El Acordeon de Luis” course advertised for £9.99 only yesterday, and today I went to buy it and it’s £24.99?! Why is that? Can I still get the cheaper price?
LH2 Response:
Hola! It was a special offer that the Tutor had decided to offer and it has expired I'm afraid. Our system gives Tutors the facility to run their own promotions a few times a year. We do not intervene in a promotion once it has been set, and the duration cannot be altered either. Once it's gone it's gone. But it might return (no guarantees though) as our Tutors can post a promotion again if they want to after 60 days of one ending. I am confident that El Acordeon de Luis course is still excellent value for money at the normal price. Garry

Question:
I saw an ad on Facebook for a course I’d like to take. The ad said £9.99, but when I visited your website to buy it, it’s now £15.00. Can you still offer it at £9.99?
LH2 Response:
Hello, and thank you for your interest. Our Tutors run their own promotions a few times a year and it sounds like there was a promotion for the course that you saw and it has ended. The course is now back to its normal price. The ad should state that it was a promotion, and apologies if it didn't. Please let us know if that was the case by contacting us at info@learnhow2.co.uk. Let us know the name of the course and we'll make sure to pass the feedback on to the relevant Tutor to help them improve future ads. Our system allows tutors to run a promotion again (if they want to, no guarantees) after 60 days of one ending. So the promotion might return if you decide to wait. Thanks again. Luis

Question:
Some tutors invite their learners to Q&A live shows on different social platforms, am I allowed to get in touch with them directly through those platforms? Or still only through LH2?
LH2 Response:
Hello. We've got no problem with our students attending multi-guest live shows run by LH2 Tutors on different social platforms, and asking direct questions to the Tutors who are also free to answer that way. But we strongly recommend that for safety and privacy reasons you do not share any personal direct contact details. Even when an LH2 Tutor uses another social platform for a live show, if it's about their course on LH2 and it involves LH2 learners, then that Tutor is still bound by our T&Cs and are not allowed to ask LH2 learners for their direct contact details or to contact then directly by email, mobile, normal post or telephone. If in doubt we're here to help. Luis

Question:
Can I redo a lesson quiz?
LH2 Response:
Hello. If you get at least 70% of the quiz correct, then the quiz is considered as "passed", you have done well but you can't do it again. You can still view the questions and answers though, which is useful for revising purposes. If you don't get at least 70% of the quiz correct, you will have as many attempts to pass it as needed. BEAR in mind though, that the number of attempts is recorded and it will show in the results. Our recommendation? please make sure that you feel well prepared for the quiz in turn, having gone through the corresponding lesson or lessons thoroughly! Good Luck! Luis

Question:
Is there a maximmum number of questions I can have in a quiz?
LH2 Response:
Hello, no there isn't. You decide how many questions you think are needed in your quizzes to test your students properly. We would only suggest not to make each quiz too long to keep them fun and engaging. We would also suggest having at least 4 questions in each quiz. This is because the "pass mark" that we have set for the quizzes is 70% of correct answers. If you had less than four questions you would have to get all of the answers correct to pass!..which is not a bad thing of course :-) so again, up to you. Thank you. Luis- LH2

Question:
Am I allowed to use the 'LearnHow2' banner on my Facebook page for advertising?
LH2 Response:
Hello, yes you are welcome to use the LH2 logo and the banner for the purposes of advertising your course on social media, as long as you don't modify them in any way, apart from resizing them as may be needed. If you resize them however, you must do so without distorting the images, i.e. you must keep their right shape and proportions. We reserve the right to ask you to stop using the LH2 logo and banner if we find that you have not observed these guidelines.

How do you make and save notes?
LH2 Response:
Hello, thank you for your question. To make a note click the blue button called "My Lesson Notes" located in the information pane next to each lesson. When the form opens just type in your note and click "Save" when you finish. It will be stored automatically in My Notes on the Control Panel, where you can view them at any time. To add more notes on the same lesson just open the note again, either from the Lesson directly or from My Notes. When you finish click "Save" again. Regards, Luis, LH2

Question:
If I decide I want a refund, even after completing the course, am I entitled to it?
LH2 Response:
Yes you are. You can request a refund within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights. To request a refund please complete our “Request for Refund” form available in the “My Orders” page of our website. As part of the refund process you will be asked to provide us with feedback. Question:
Are there any PC recommended specifications to be able to see the lessons properly (minimum requirements)?
LH2 Response:
Learn How 2 is available on virtually any platform with an internet connection. Howerver, for a better user experience we recommend a minimum of: 1. A broadband internet connection 2. Windows 7 or above or for Mac user Snow Leopard OSX or above 3. 2 Gb of RAM There are two things we highly recommend: 1. Use a modern web browser. We like the Google Chrome web browser on either Windows or Mac OSX. 2. Use a laptop or desktop computer instead of a mobile or tablet to benefit from larger screen sizes. Thank you Garry - LH2

Question:
If I discontinue a course can I make it live again at a later stage?
LH2 Response:
Hello, yes you can, provided that there have not been any issues with that course before or any unresolved matter. Please contact us on info@learnhow2.co.uk to request reactivation. Please bear in mind that if it is a free course and you have run out of free courses space entitlement we will not be able to make it live again until space has been freed by removing other free courses. Remember, you're entitled 2 hours of free content including video and sound files). Thank you Luis. LH2

Question:
I’m a tutor, why is there a 2-hour content limit allowance on free courses? I find that a bit limiting.
LH2 Response:
Currently Learn How 2 have a 2-hour media content restriction for 'FREE COURSES' in place for tutors. This is for two reasons: 1. At Learn How 2, one of our main goals is to provide an easy to use e-learning platform with emphasis on offering quality courses for our users. The 2-hour limitation measure helps us to control the degree of poor quality submissions. 2. At Learn How 2 we offer the best returns for our tutors. This limitation enables us to keep tutor royalties at a premium. If we offer more server space for free courses this would have a detrimental impact on tutor royalties. Unlike many similar platforms we truly see our tutors as our partners and as such we protect their potential earnings. With those points being made, we are very aware of this limitation and part of our business plan will see this limitation increasing as our platform grows. All tutors will be informed when these increases and policy changes occur. Thank you Garry - LH2

Question:
How many courses can I post?
LH2 Response:
Hello, as many as you like as long as you keep within these terms: Chargeable courses must not exceed 10 hours of total combined time of video and audio files, and 50 gigabytes of total combined size including documents. Free courses must not exceed 2 hours of total combined time of video and audio files, and 10 gigabytes of total combined size, including documents. And remember, to keep courses and lessons in bite sized digestible chunks and ensure good flow, EACH INDIVIDUAL LESSON must not exceed 30 minutes of total combined time of video and audio files and 5 gigabytes of total combined size of all files. Thank you. Luis. LH2

Question:
I’m a College teacher, am I allowed to let my learners at college watch my courses if I played them for them?
LH2 Response:
Hello, no, I'm afraid that would be a breach of our Terms and Conditions. When you obtain a course, either free or paid, we grant you a licence to view and access the course materials via our website for your own personal and educational use, and you may not try to share access to courses. We are working towards being able to offer multi-licence packages soon. We'll let everyone know through our blogs and social media. Stay tuned! Thank you. Luis. LH2

Question:
I have finished my course but I don’t see it available?
LH2 Response:
Hello, first of all please make sure that you have submitted it for approval using the button at the top of the course overview section. If you already have, thank you for submitting it. The reason why you don't see it may be that it is still under review as part of our approval process. Under normal circumstances you will get a reply from us within seven working days and if all is good your course will be available within that timescale. In the event that we require you to make some changes to your course to get approval, or if we cannot approve it, you will be given the necessary details. Thank you. Luis. LH2

Question:
I have submitted my course, but I don’t see it listed. What is happening?
LH2 Response:
Hello, and thank you very much for submitting your course. It is not listed yet because it is still under review as part of our approval process. Under normal circumstances you will get a reply from us within seven working days from posting a course, either confirming that it has gone live or that we require you to make some changes to your course to get approval. If changes are needed or we cannot approve a course for any reason you will be given the necessary details. If more than seven days have passed since you submitted your course for approval and you haven't heard from us please get in touch through info@learnhow2.co.uk and apologies for any inconvenience that we may have caused involuntarily. Question:
Why can’t I delete lessons or supporting material of a course that I have posted if I have updated versions?
LH2 Response:
Hello, that is because as part of our Terms and Conditions we offer students who have purchased or acquired a course a permanent licence to access such course, including all the original content. But you can update or enhance your course by posting additional content within it at any time. Just remember that any updates or additions have to be made available for no extra charge to those who have purchased it, or for free in case of free courses. If you are thinking of making significant changes or updates to a course, then we would recommend considering posting a new course altogether, where you might also be able to set a different price. Thank you. Luis. LH2

Question:
I’m thinking of posting a course with you, how do you advertise LH2 and the courses?
LH2 Response:
Hello, and first of all thank you very much for your interest. We mainly advertise on social media, constantly, and you can follow us on Facebook, twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Our tutors are also our best Ambassadors, and they help us spread the word by building their audience through social media, where they advertise their own courses, and through friends and family! That means thousands of advertisements and references about LH2 on social media and word of mouth around the world, all the time! We also use other marketing channels like educational forums, publications, education industry events and through being in touch with public and private training organisations. Thank you. Luis. LH2

Question:
I like the way LH2 looks and its user-friendliness, but as an experienced tutor posting courses on other platforms for many years, what are the advantages of me using LH2 as well?
LH2 Response:
Hello, and thank you very much for your feedback. First of all we aim to provide another quality option where your courses can be offered for yet more prospective customers. But the main advantage, and difference with us, is that we clearly understand that Tutors, Students and us as Providers of the platform are all equally important and so our business mission is for all of us TO WIN. We achieve that by offering tutors a more transparent course price share that is fairer for them compared to other platforms, and makes the business viable for us. We achieve our mission by promoting and monitoring the creation of quality courses that offer excellent value for our students, and by providing a safe and robust platform that ensures continuation of business and the educational goals of our students. We sincerely hope to see your courses on LH2 soon. You can only win with us! Thank you. Luis. LH2

Please exercise extreme caution when communicating with learners, and always adhere to UK and international privacy and data protection laws.
